Very Tiny Inner Bladder Pressure Sensing System for Long Term Ambulatory Urodynamic Monitoring

چکیده
2 This paper introduces a tiny inner bladder pressure sensing system for long term ambulatory urodynamic monitoring. In order to realize this system, a small System-on-a Chip (SoC) called Medical Domain Specific SOC, Type-I (MeSOC-I) has been developed. MeSOC-I enables an inner bladder pressure sensing system to conduct more than 72 hours measurement with a small battery.

Differentiation of lower urinary tract dysfunctions: The role of ambulatory urodynamic monitoring.
OBJECTIVES To determine the value of ambulatory urodynamic monitoring in the assessment of patients with lower urinary tract symptoms. METHODS This was a cross-sectional study including patients who underwent both conventional urodynamic and ambulatory urodynamic assessment at our Center between December 2002 and February 2013. The ambulatory urodynamic studies were interpreted in a standardi...
متن کاملCatheterless Long-Term Ambulatory Urodynamic Measurement Using a Novel Three-Device System
AIMS Long-term urodynamics are required because bladder-emptying disorders are often not clearly revealed by conventional urodynamics. Patients with severe clinical overactive bladder symptoms, for instance, often show normal results. This may be due to the short evaluation time and psychological factors that complicate conventional urodynamics. This study aimed to develop an ambulatory three-c...

Objective: To evaluate short and long-term results obtained from ambulatory surgical treatment of feminine stress urinary incontinence (SUI), by using a transobturator mesh (TOT) and a single Contasure-Needleless incision (Neomedic-International). Patients and Method: Between January 2007 and December 2015, 215 patients suffering from SUI received surgery under local anaesthesia and strict ambu...
متن کاملDifferences in urodynamic voiding variables recorded by conventional cystometry and ambulatory monitoring in symptomatic women.
OBJECTIVES To determine whether there are differences in pressure and flow measurements between conventional cystometry (CONV) and ambulatory urodynamic monitoring (AMB) in women with overactive bladder syndrome and urinary incontinence. MATERIALS AND METHODS Retrospective study which included female subjects who underwent both CONV (with saline filling medium) and AMB, separated by less than...
متن کاملLong-term urodynamic evaluation of laparoscopic radical cystectomy with orthotopic ileal neobladder for bladder cancer
The long-term urodynamics of laparoscopic radical cystectomy with orthotopic ileal neobladder for bladder cancer remain unclear in the clinical setting. The present prospective observational study was conducted between January 2010 and December 2012 to evaluate the 6-month and 12-month follow-up data of urodynamic changes of bladder cancer patients who were initially treated by laparoscopic rad...
